Lesson

Mitral Valve Leaflet Prolapse is presented in this lesson. When playing to the recording, listen for a mid-systolic click followed by a late systolic diamond shaped murmur. Using the 'Visual' tab, view the prolapse of both the anterior and posterior mitral valve leaflets. You can also observe the turbulent flow across the incompetent mitral leaflets (murmur of mitral regurgitation).
